Caramelised pecans with maple syrup
They are easy to prepare and a great addition to an aperitif, as a simple snack or on top of a tasty salad. Their taste of salted butter and their crunchiness. A true delight. A nice DIY gift idea by offering them in a pretty bag, jar or linen pouch.
400 ml pecans
80 ml happy maple, goût délicat
1 pinch of salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cas melted butter
Heat the nuts over low heat in a pan with the butter to enhance the flavor and make them crisp.
Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup and spices.
Return to the heat and continue to cook, stirring often, until the sugar crystallizes and sticks to the nuts.
Place the walnuts on a baking sheet to let them cool.
